The main source of Lycopene in the human diet is ripe red tomatoes. Scientists at LycoRed
Ltd., Israel carried out a
10-year, conventional breeding
agro-development program which has resulted in a Lycopene rich tomato (LRT) variety, two to three times richer in Lycopene than regular tomatoes. The LRT is especially cultivated for LycoRed's proprietary industrial extraction process and yields the raw material for production of Lyc-O-Mato®. Extraction is carried out in a Food Grade plant under Israel GMP conditions with ISO-9001:2000 certification. Production is carried out under strict quality control by Quality Assurance Analytical Laboratory procedures under patented technology, free of additives and non-GMO.
